The printed metal sign has a couple of photos of the cetaceans found near Gladstone, including the Australian humpback dolphin, the Humpback whale, and the Australian snubnose dolphin. You may even be lucky enough to see one of these while walking the loop. The sign also details Risks to Cetaceans: Boat Strikes, Boat Noise, Nets, and Pollution; and How You Can Help.

This is one of six signs around a cyclepath loop, on the northern breakwall/spit of Gladstone Harbour.
