This Spanish War Veterans memorial is located at the west end of downtown Jackson in Withington Park alongside numerous other memorials. It is a light charcoal gray granite slab with the Spanish American War cross emblem on a raised metal surface.
The top of the monuments inscription: 1898 To 1913 Honoring All Who Served. The inner circle says SPANISH WAR VETERANS 1898-1902 and the four ordinal directions on the cross so the locations of the fighting: CUBA - PHILIPPINE ISLANDS - PORTO-RICO - U.S.A.
