Large fountain located at the Market Square intersection of Main and Market Streets in downtown Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. The fountain was constructed using money bequeathed by candy merchant Davis Stroup in 1892. It has been disassembled and completely repaired at least twice in its 130 year existence and has a cherub atop the fountain instead of the original crane. A more complete history can be found

Smithsonian inventory description:
A two-tiered fountain topped by a seated child in a toga holding what may be a corn stalk, or a lily, in its hands. The rim of the top tier of the fountain is adorned with eight sheep heads that spout water from their mouths into the second tier of the fountain. The second tier is adorned with the heads of eight mythical creatures that spout water into the large octagonal basin at the foot of the fountain. The fountain is painted green is and is decorated with reliefs of leaves, shells, and scrolls.
