A pin-connected Pennsylvania through truss bridge spanned the north branch of the Susquehanna River at this site from 1894 to 1987. The bridge superstructure constructed of steel and iron by King Iron Bridge Company of Cleveland, Ohio had six individual spans of 190 feet, providing a total span of 1,150 feet.
