Baptism font in the church of The Good Shepherd, Wardlow.
Behind the screen at the west end of the church is the font. A 19th century octagonal font with carved crosses on alternate faces. Originally intended to be inscribed on the font, in keeping with the Good Shepherd theme of the church, was ‘He shall gather the lambs in his arms and carry them in his bosom’, but painted round the rim is ‘One Lord, One Baptism, One Hope’.
