The First National Bank building was constructed in 1900. After the bank outgrew the building, it has hosted a candy store, a hardware store, and the Fruita Times. Since 2008 it has been the home of Aspen Street Coffee Company, which features coffee by day and wine in the evenings. And of course you must visit the statue of Mike the Headless Chicken, which is right out front.
