El Santuario de Lourdes de Arenys de Munt, es conocido como el Santuario de Lourdes de Soberanos , un lugar entre la devoción y el placer por comer, este Santuario tiene la reproducción de la gruta del santuario de Lourdes de Francia .

La historia se inicia cuando en 1922 dos personas de la villa, después de haber hecho la peregrinación a Lourdes en Francia, quisieron difundir aquella devoción y sentimientos, a la gente de Arenys de Munt y cercanías dando a conocer datos, postales de la virgen francesa, entre otros.
Una vez recogido dinero pudieron sufragar una imagen del santuario francés, una vez en Arenys de Munt, fue ofrenda a la parroquia el 15 de julio de ese mismo año.
Entonces, la idea era encontrar un lugar para hacer una cueva similar a la francesa, consiguieron que una vecina del pueblo, mujeres de su propiedad 600 m2 de terreno, comenzando de inmediato las obras de la Cueva por la Virgen .
Fue inaugurado el 21 de abril de 1924.
La imagen actual de la Virgen es de piedra, del año 1981.
Los alrededores del santuario se habilitaron como zona de recreo y para comidas al aire libre con mesas, bancos, fuentes y barbacoas.
The story begins when in 1922 two people from the town, after having made the pilgrimage to Lourdes in France, wanted to spread that devotion and sentiments to the people of Arenys de Munt and its surroundings, disclosing data, postcards of the French Virgin , among others.
Once money was collected they were able to pay for an image of the French sanctuary, once in Arenys de Munt, it was offered to the parish on July 15 of that same year.
So, the idea was to find a place to make a cave similar to the French one, they got a neighbor from the town, women who owned 600 m2 of land, immediately starting the work on the Cave for the Virgin.
It was inaugurated on April 21, 1924.
The current image of the Virgin is made of stone, from the year 1981.
The surroundings of the sanctuary were set up as a recreation area and for outdoor meals with tables, benches, fountains and barbecues.
