The former church is also called Alte Kirche and was built on Roman foundations.
It is a German Monument and behind the church lies also a large
honorary cemetery where many fallen soldiers from World War II are buried.
Around the church are many graves, the whole place is neatly maintained and it seems that it is still in use.
One of the headstones reads:
"Albert Leuk 1929-2001"
