Der Nordsee und der Südsee sind zwei Wassersport-Seeen bei Xanten. Sie sind zusammen 245 Hektar groß, ein Kanal verbindet die beiden Seen. Drei Häfen bieten Liegeplätze für Kajüt- und Segelboote an.

Einer dieser drei Häfen ist der Hafen Vynen am nördlichen Ende des Nordsees. Zugelassen sind hier Segel- und Elektromotorboote mit maximal 7,20 Meter Länge und 2,10 Meter Breite. Boote mit Verbrennungsmotor sind auf beiden Seeen nicht erlaubt. Ein Bootshebekran und eine Slipanlage bieten Bootseignern die Möglichkeit, ihr Boot zu Wasser zu lassen. Strom am Steg ist ebenso wie kleinere Reparaturmöglichkeiten vorhanden.

Neben der Vermietung von Bootsliegeplätzen werden im Hafen Vynen auch zahlreiche Wassersportmöglichkeiten angeboten. So kann man hier Segelboote, Kanus, Kajaks und Tret- und Ruderboote mieten oder an einen Segelkurs teilnehmen. Bei Gruppen ist das Party-Floß mit Grill besonders beliebt.

Das Bistro-Restaurant Pier5 befindet sich direkt am Hafen und bietet Besuchern Speisen und Getränke an.
The Nordsee and the Südsee are two water sports lakes near Xanten. Together they are 245 hectares in size, and a canal connects the two lakes. Three marinas offer berths for cabin and sailing boats.

One of these three marinas is the port of Vynen at the northern end of the Nordsee. Sailing and electric motor boats with a maximum length of 7.20 meters and a width of 2.10 meters are permitted here. Boats with combustion engines are not allowed on either lake. A boat lifting crane and a slipway offer boat owners the opportunity to lower their boat into the water. There is electricity at the jetty as well as small repair facilities.

In addition to the rental of boat berths, numerous water sports are also available in Vynen Harbour. Here you can rent sailing boats, canoes, kayaks, pedal and rowing boats or take part in a sailing course. The party raft with barbecue is particularly popular with groups.

The bistro-restaurant Pier5 is located directly at the harbor and offers visitors food and drinks.
