This Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company WE6 6-Case Master Coca-Cola Soda Bottle Cooler has been slightly modified and now functions as a countertop for customers of Frog Rock Summer Shack, a takeout restaurant on the westbound side of U.S. Route 44 in Eastford, Connecticut. The cooler sits by the service window at the northeast corner the small building below porch roof. It is weathered and faded, but appears to be in solid, repurposed condition.
Described by the Antique Warehouse of St. Louis, Missouri: This is a "wet" box, which means that it circulates chilled water around the 140 bottles it could accommodate to keep them cold. "Drink Coca-Cola" and "Ice Cold" are embossed on all four sides of this cooler. Produced from the mid-40's into the 50's this machine was similar to the Cavalier CI-6, and also to the Westinghouse WI-6, which used ice rather than an electric system.

The former highway rest stop and picnic area is now Frog Rock Summer Shack, owned and operated by Julie Burgess since June 2022. It offers burgers, hot dogs, lobster rolls, clam chowder and milk shakes. They feature a playground, a small antiques store, live music on the weekends, classic and collector car, Jeep and hot rod meetups, and other community events.
