Als je moet rondkomen van een beperkt budget in de week, gaat dat geld grotendeels op aan eten en drinken. Maar van dat geld moeten ook verzorgings- en hygiëneproducten gekocht worden. Dat maakt dat er soms geen geld is voor maandverband of andere menstruatieproducten. Menstruatieproducten moeten voor iedere vrouw beschikbaar zijn die het nodig heeft. Het Armoedefonds stelt daarom gratis menstruatieproducten beschikbaar via lokale hulporganisaties en andere laagdrempelige locaties. We willen vrouwen zelf de keus bieden om een product uit te kiezen dat bij hen past en dat zij comfortabel vinden.

This means that sometimes there is no money for sanitary towels or other menstrual products. Menstrual products should be available to every woman who needs them. The Poverty Fund therefore provides free menstrual products through local aid organisations and other accessible locations. We want to offer women the choice to select a product that suits them and that they find comfortable.
