Grady is a small town of +/- 100 people in Eastern New Mexico, just a few miles from Texas. It began life in 1907, but unfortunately, the railroad passed it by, leaving it as a small farming and ranching community. A fire in 1925 and a tornado in 1952 both contributed to its slow decline.
