Macedonia Baptist Church and Cemetery are on the north side of Highway 79, just west of Carthage. There are two cemetery gates, on either side of the Church. There is ample parking in the Church parking lot.

Macedonia Church was established in 1845, pastored by Lemuel Herrin. A stone monument in front of the Church commemorates that founding. The "Old" church burned in about 1880, and the "New" church was constructed at this location. At some later time that church building was replaced by the modern structure that stands here now.

This cemetery was established after the church moved to this location; the first burial here was in 1890. The cemetery is active and well tended. There are about three hundred and forty grave monuments here.

One monument in the cemetery is for Malcolm and Josie Ross. The inscription is:
