Le camp de Lanniron sur les bords de l'Odet à Quimper, plus précisément érigé sur des terres agricoles d'Ergué-Armel en 1940. Chaque baraque pouvait héberger jusqu'à 120 hommes.
Le camp dirigé par l'Hauptmann Queish commandant du bataillon Landesschutzen 388 comptait une majeure partie de soldats de couleur étrangers qu'Hitler estimait indésirable sur le sol allemand...

À la mémoire des Prisonniers de Guerre de Lanniron, FrontStalag 135
En ce lieu durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale,les autorités militaires allemandes ont détenu comme prisonniers de guerre plus de 2000 soldats métropolitains et 7746 soldats issus des colonies françaises d’Afrique et d’Asie.
Après la Libération de Quimper, le 8 août 1944, 3853 Prisonniers de guerre allemands y furent internés. Le camp de prisonniers de Lanniron a été démantelé en juin 1946.
Cette stèle a été inaugurée le 18 mai 2010
en présence de Bernard Poignant, maire de Quimper, et Pascal Mailhos, préfet du Finistère" Source : (

"Front Stalag 135
The Lanniron camp on the banks of the Odet in Quimper, more precisely erected on agricultural land in Ergué-Armel in 1940. Each hut could accommodate up to 120 men.
The camp led by Hauptmann Queish, commander of the Landesschutzen 388 battalion, had a majority of foreign colored soldiers whom Hitler considered undesirable on German soil...

In memory of the Prisoners of War of Lanniron, FrontStalag 135
In this place during the Second World War, the German military authorities held as prisoners of war more than 2,000 metropolitan soldiers and 7,746 soldiers from the French colonies in Africa and Asia.
After the Liberation of Quimper on August 8, 1944, 3,853 German prisoners of war were interned there. Lanniron prison camp was dismantled in June 1946.
This stele was inaugurated on May 18, 2010
