This is a short linear trail, about 3,5 km long, accessible to all, including families. The track has actually a pipeline, visible at some points, installed by the British in the late 19th century to bring water to the garrison at Murree. A fee is recquired, being symbolic (and even cheaper for locals).

It's a great walk to watch birds and some of the species spottable are: Yellow Beaked Magpie, Red Blood and Yellow Body Finches, White Cheek or Crested Grey Finch.

The trailhead is located in a small village, Dunga Gali, which during British domain was a a hill station with asanatorium, a hotel, post office and a small church.
