From the junction of State Highway 220 and Dry Creek Road at N42 32.812 W107 05.398, drive northwestward for about 7.85 miles to the junction of a two-track road that leads off to the southwest. From the junction of the county road with the two-track road, the benchmark is located about 225 feet away at a bearing of 214 degrees. The benchmark is set on the northern edge of a large granite outcrop and is flush with the surface of the rock.
