ROCKY (NR0403) - Natrona County, Wyoming - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

There are numerous ways to reach the summit area of Point 7170 (7,170' is the height of the true summit, which is located about 300 feet to the north-northwest of where this benchmark is set). I recommend parking at either N42 36.895 W107 11.220 or N42 36.810 W107 12.130. Based on my route from the former parking area, the summit requires easy Class 3 scrambling to reach (there are at least two routes with limited exposure and solid rock to follow based on what I saw). The benchmark itself is set at a highpoint to the south-southeast of the true summit; it is surrounded by a rock cairn, a couple splintery pieces of wood, and some rusted wire.
