[FIN] Turussa olevan Katariinanlaakson luontopolun varrella on erilaisia luonnosta ja sen eliölajeista kertovia informaatiotauluja. Tässä on kuvattu hauskasti haitallisia vieraslajeja.

Suomen luontoon on vuosien varrella tullut monia eri vieraslajeja. Niistä osa on haitallisia. Taulun kuvilla on esimerkiksi hyvin havainnoillistettu mikä ero on todella haitallisen espanjansiruetanan ja kotimaisen vaarattoman ukkoetanan välillä. Itsekin olen joutunut ottamaan etanasta ensin kuvaa ja kysymään harrastelijalta.

Kyltissä on myös lupiini ja jättibalsami mainittu sen vuoksi että ne syrjäyttävät muita kasvilajeja. Ennen lupiinia pidettiin vain mukavana värikkäänä kasvina. Nyt sitä yritetään hävittää teiden varsilta.


[EN] Along the Katariinanlaakso nature trail in Turku, there are various information boards about nature and its species. Here are pictures of hilariously harmful alien species.

Many different alien species have entered Finland's nature over the years. Some of them are harmful. The pictures on the board, for example, clearly illustrate the difference between the really harmful Spanish snail and the harmless domestic snail. I myself have had to take a picture of the snail first and ask the hobbyist.

Lupine and giant balsam are also mentioned on the sign because they displace other plant species. Before, lupine was considered just a nice colorful plant. Now they are trying to dispose of it on the roadside.
