The Historic Center of Córdoba now comprises the streets that surround the Great Mosque-Cathedral and all the parcels of land that open onto them, together with all the blocks of houses around them. This area extends to the other bank of the Guada-Iquivir river (which includes the Roman bridge and Calahorra) to the south, to San Fernando street to the east, to the limit of the shopping center to the north, and incorporating the AIcázar de los Reyes Cristianos and the neighborhood of San Basilio to the west."
