What is a Bollard and why must we be cautioned about the slow ones? Are they particularly dangerous? Wouldn't a Fast Bollard be more of a threat?

Alas, proper comma placement would help here. This sign on the Perkiomen Trial is attempting to ensure a safe environment in the Bollard zone by trying to get you to slow down in the presence of the Bollard. Bollards are placed where this rail trail intersects roadways to keep automobile traffic off of the trail and also to get people to be careful as they cross the roads.

So, perhaps that comma would help, or maybe an exclamation point:

Slow, Bollards Ahead or
Slow! Bollards Ahead

instead of leading the trail users to think that there is some sort of slow creature named a Bollard waiting to devour them!

This dangerous Bollard encounter is where the Perkiomen trail intersects Salford Street in the hamlet of Salford PA. All views are northbound!
