The Port of Grennock is located in the downtown business and civic area of the Town of Greenock (population 44,000). Two permanent bridges connect the dock to the terminal area of the port. The town has a marked a walking trail that starts and ends at cruise terminal and takes visitors to many of the points of interest in Greenock. Since the town is built on the side of a hill the trail involves about 100' of uphill climb. The City Hall and many of the churches can be located by their tall spires.
