Moore's Corner Church was built in 1896 in the Stick style as a result of the success of evangelical meetings held in Leverett in 1895. The church's founder and first pastor was John C. Wightman who was a follower of the famous evangelist D.L. Moody.

The evangelical church believes that the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. They are the inerrant, infallible, and final authority in matters of faith and life.

The church has a set of steps leading up to a pavilion entrance at the base of a tower. A zig-zag ramp also leads to the side of the pavilion. Above the entrance, the tower has two rectangular windows and a louvered belfry opening. The tower is topped with a pyramidal roof.

The main block has a three-part double window on the ground level and two rectangular windows below the jerkinhead roof. The east side of the main block has three double windows. The west side has an outdoor stairway leading up to a second story entrance.
