The Cossatot River State Park Natural Area was acquired in 1988 to allow recreational access to the Cossatot River,where the swift currents, rapids and falls will challenge the most experienced kayaker. The area is also open for day use and overnight camping. The Visitors Center has many interesting exhibits and a gift shop.
