With its haphazardly-written but delicious menu of burgers, fries, onion rings, fish and chips, shakes and more, Crazy Eric's has been slinging hash in Bremerton since 1961.

Crazy Eric's has a, well, crazy menu. Various menu items are plastered all over the wall and sandwich board surrounding the single take-away window. If you haven't been here before, give yourself a few minutes to take in its majesty before you make your decision. Whatever you choose, it's gonna be good. We're especially fond of their onion rings, which are deeply battered, golden brown and plentiful (you'll need at least two people to eat an order of onion rings, and four might be a better idea).

Once upon a time Crazy Eric's was a local chain, but this is the only remaining location (not counting the fry stations they open occasionally at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds).

Parking is limited at Crazy Eric's, and this is a drive-in, not a drive-thru. If the small parking lot is packed, there's spillover parking at the closed laundromat across the street. It's also cash only, so either bring bills with you or withdraw some funds from the on-site ATM. Because everything is made to order, it takes a little time to cook the food; locals know to call ahead at (360) 373-2297 so their order will be ready to pick up by the time they arrive.
