The fountain imitates the structure of the Fountain of the Three Graces and consists of three bodies and two cups in which The three female figures of Andalusian folkloric inspiration stand out, with fans and ruffled dresses.

This fountain was in the Plaza de la Constitución until 2002, when with the restoration of the square it was decided, due to its large proportions, to relocate it to the roundabout of the Poet Manuel Alcántara, on Avenida de Andalucía.

This roundabout constitutes an important axis where Avenida de Andalucía, Calle Armengual de la Mota and Callejones del Perchel come together. Due to the delay and the numerous problems in the works of the Málaga Metro, the fountain remained hidden for almost a decade in municipal warehouses."
