This benchmark and its reference marks are located on BLM land. To reach them, turn north off of US 287/SH 789 onto a dirt road at N42 32.654 W108 07.540. Drive for about 0.3 miles and park on the side of the road; from here, walk southeast for about 500 feet to the top of the hill. The benchmark is about 3 feet to the southeast of a T-post and is set in the top of a square concrete post that projects about 1.5 inches above the ground.
