To reach the station, I recommend parking along the side of the Lander Cutoff Road at N42 26.044 W109 01.440 at the junction of a small two-track road. Hike or drive southward along the two-track road for about 1.10 miles (if driving, a high-clearance 4WD vehicle is needed). The station is about 175 feet due north of a sharp bend in the two-track road and about 20 feet to the northwest of a barbed wire fence. The mark is welded to the top of an iron pipe that rises about one foot above the ground, is surrounded by several rocks, and is adjacent to a T-post. There are no reference marks or an azimuth mark associated with this triangulation station.
