Hisley bridge is a small ancient Granite bridge spanning the River Bovey at the bottom of Hisley woods. It's an important bridge for access by foot or horse to Lustleigh cleave and onwards to Lustleigh village - especially when the River Bovey is in flood and the river cannot be forded
