Aan de noordwestzijde van het Arminiusplein gelegen weegbrug met weeghuisje, ontworpen omstreeks 1930. De brug heeft een relatie met de scheepvaart op de Hollandse IJssel. De weegbrug diende om -op wagens- ladingen te wegen die van schepen kwamen of ingescheept zouden worden.
Omschrijving
De ten noordwesten van het Arminiusplein geplaatste WEEGHUISJE met WEEGBRUG. Het weeghuisje is opgetrokken op een vierkante plattegrond, telt één bouwlaag onder een met rode Hollandse pan gedekt tentdak. Op de nok staat een terra-cotta piron. Rondom is een goot gezet. Aan de rechter zijgevel is een tweelichts venster met luiken. In de linkerzijde bevindt zich een deur. Venster en deur hebben een gemetselde strek aan de bovenzijde. In het interieur bevindt zich het meetinstrumentarium.
De weegbrug bestaat uit een houten oprijvloer, gevat in een stalen frame. De bediening van het weeginstrument vindt plaats vanuit het weeghuisje.
