The headquarters of Thermalia corresponds to a Gothic building from the late 14th century known as the Old Hospital of Santa Susanna, which was incorporated into the old Romanesque chapel of the same name, consecrated in 1403.

The Thermalia Museum occupies a building that had formerly been a hospital for the poor, called Santa Susanna because of the 11th century Romanesque chapel next door.
