Cockrell Butterfly Center, Houston, TX - Butterfly Houses on Waymarking.com

The Cockrell Butterfly House is located in the same building that houses the Houston Museum of Natural Science. The butterflies here were a delight to see. They were made to feel right at home. We even saw one butterfly laying eggs on it's favorite host plant.
There is even a 30 ft waterfall to help raise the humidity in the building. As you look around in search of the butterflies, don't be surprised if you happen to see a couple reptiles. They like it here too.
