This Porter 0-6-0ST #2 steam locomotive was built by H.K. Porter, Inc. in 1941. It was used by the U.S. Navy during World War II at the Norfolk Naval Base in Hampton Roads, VA. After the war it became part of the collection at Steamtown in Bellows Falls, VT. It was purchased by the Town of Peabody, MA in the 1980's and by the Friends of the Valley Railroad in 2008.

The restored locomotive is on display on the grounds of the Valley Railroad in Essex, CT.
