The Westerner Motel in all its neon glory is located at the corner of N. Prescott Street and N. Interstate Avenue. N. Interstate Avenue winds its way from the Memorial Coliseum in Portland to Delta Park in North Portland. It is an avenue of 50’s cheap motels with colorful neon lights, single family houses and apartments, old firehouse, churches, small cafes, and many (but not all) decrepit shops and antique stores. The Yellow Line MAX light rail runs through the center of N.
