I like these kind of mileposts. This one is close to home and we see it frequently.

From time to time that site includes information about the sign.

Here is the story as best as I can figure it out. Several years back now many of the students raised the money to put this mile post up as the traffic island was bare. The arrows point to 11 places of which five are in Tigard and six are quite a bit further off.

It has been the start point for a couple of geocaches.

To claim credit for this Waymark please post your picture by the sign with GPS in hand. For bonus credit feel free to post a second picture of yourself at one of the destinations pointed to.

Historic significance: This Marker was placed with student initiative, activity, and involvement. Location nearest to where you live now: The Arrows for Washington Square & Tigard City Hall probably point to places equidistant from my home. Date placed: Not listed
