This is one of the Oldest Bridges in Barry County.
It spans Flat Creek along the Trail of Tears also known as the Old Wire Road also taken By the Butterfield Stage Line.
This is in a series with some geocaches marking out the Original Trail and not the Auto route tour.
The Star City Ranch has recently placed a sign on this portion of the Trail.
Keeping the Original Trail marked.
Most of the signs are hard to find,see or read but hopefully this will give a few a chance to follow the trail.
History of Mark:
There is no link found for this bridge.
Nor could I find a plaque on it.
But you can tell it was probably built in the late 1800's or Early 1900's.
