This "Big Wheel" is one of the largest ever built at 11 feet in diameter and was used in a saw mill in Shelton from 1926 until 1967.
It was originally built to saw spruce logs for World War I aircraft. In 41 years this bandmill sawed three billion board feet of lumber, enough to house over one million people.
