The Noble County Fairgrounds plays host to many events throughout the year. Included in the events at the fairgrounds are the usual horse, pig, cow and sheep competitions and shows, and such diverse events as community flea markets, fundraiser activities, and two of the largest Bluegrass festivals in the Midwest: the Tri-State Bluegrass Festivals, held over Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend.
And, in 2007, the fairgrounds is playing host to an event significant to many geocachers: the
Midwest GeoBash! Cachers from all over will gather and cache together, swap caching stories, tips, tricks and have a great time meeting old friends and making new ones.
The Noble County Fair is an exciting and diverse event as well. In 2007, it's being held July 7 - July 14, and will host events such as a Tractor Pull, a Monster Truck show, and a Demolition Derby, in addition to the expected 4-H shows of cows, horses, pigs, sheep, rabbits, and varieties of fowl.
