I traveled The Oregon Trail with an Elderhostel group from Kansas City/Independence, Missouri to Oregon City, Oregon June 13-28, 2007. We stopped briefly at Red Canyon Scenic Overlook on our way to South Pass City State Historic Site on Thursday, June 21. Elevation 6,943. I took several photographs of the view and information signboard.
