Although its running it has no use, as it is for viewing purposes only. Inside, there's a replica of a typical water mill. The village was built in 1945.
About the author: Jose Franco was born in 1920, son of a very poor family, potery workers. In 1945 Jose Franco had the dream of build a live museum of is homeland. And so he did, during the next years he started building what we have today, wich is a space with 2500mts2 with, between others buildings:
-The windmill.
-The old kitchen where you can drink a glass of «moscatel» wine.
-The little church dedicated to Santo António
