The Pollock-Capps House is a late example of the Queen Anne style in 19th century architecture. The original two-and-a-half-story house built by Pollock was of red Roman brick and contained ten rooms; entry hall, drawing room, dining room, kitchen, four bedrooms and a bath, as well as a two-story open porch and a basement. The house has a slate and tile roof with metal finials and shingled gables. The house has a wealth of luxuriant materials including stained and leaded glass windows and doors.
