One of the hidden gems of St. Catharines, this Hall of Fame and museum to Lacrosse is very interesting.

The OLHOF maintains its own website which contains some of the following information.

Lacrosse, together with hockey, shares recognition as one of Canada's two Official National sports. It's origins date back hundreds of years. Lacrosse has had lasting influence on the culture of the province of Ontario. Ontario has, by far, the largest and most active numbers of registered participants of an organized lacrosse body in Canada. Even though there is a Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame, the number of Annual Inductees is limited by a quota and thus there are many deserving of recognition who will never be inducted.

Lacrosse is a popular sport among the college and university crowd and has seen a resurgence in the last several years.
