This pyramid is built over the Center of the World *according to Jacques-Andre Istel, mayor, and the Imperial County Board of Supervisors. His wife suggested the pyramid's construction, joking about the location in the desert of California.
The pyramid is pink marble. It's twenty-one feet high and lined with mirrors. There is a disk in the floor marking the Center of the World.
