We went up to Huckleberry Railroad for the second year in a row for a special day with
Thomas the Tank Engine.
Our 4 year old son is a big fan. What he doesn't know is Thomas doesn't pull the train here. He is pushed along by one of the Huckleberry Railroad trains for a 40 minute tour.
4 miles out and 4 miles back and a gentle rocking the entire trip, I'm surprised he didn't pass out. Then again, I'm surprised Leona and I didn't pass out. I guess perhaps it's way to much fun for children of all ages.
They say the Huckleberry got it's name because it moved so slow you could jump off pick huckleberies and jump back on the train with little effort. When not pushing Thomas around, the railroad has 7 engines to pull their coaches around.
