Joseph Goodrich was the founding father of Milton, WI and the driving force behind the school that later became known as Milton College. The school was open from 1844 until 1982. Four buildings remain from the college: Main Hall, now used by the Milton College Preservation Society; Goodrich Hall, now owned by an antique dealer; Whitford Memorial Hall, which appears to be vacant, but is available to rent; and the Frasier House which served as a Music Hall and Admin building and is now a private residence.
