In September 2003, the Hot Dog Hut in Atlantic Beach, Florida, opened with a very unique selection of hot dog and sausage sandwiches. Word quickly spread and business was very good. As a result, after three years they moved to a bigger store that's more centrally located between Atlantic Beach and Ponte Vedra and only two blocks from the beach.
They have indoor seating and minimal outdoor seating as well. They serve chili dogs, Philly dogs, slaw dogs, corn dogs, cheese dogs, and California dogs. They also serve Italian sausage, smoked sausage, Kielbasa, and bratwurst, as well as hamburgers, Italian style roast beef, chicken tender sandwiches, beer battered onion rings, and a variety of beer. And they are known for their great fries.
