Lighthouse at Broadway @ the Beach - Landlocked Lighthouses on Waymarking.com

This lighthouse is a 109-foot replica of the Morris Island Lighthouse which dated back to 1767 & was extinguished in 1962. (see gallery for picture of plaque containing addtional history on the original structure)

The base of this replica contains a bar for thirsty visitors & the south side abuts a man-made lake, complete with wooden bridges.

An interesting place to visit!
