This is a little park just off the main channel of the Mississippi River in Helena, AR. A small and slowly dying river town with many historical landmarks including a well made memorial to WWI veterans from the town and a Confederate Cemetary.
The park itself consists mainly of a short walking path with a pavillion atop the levy and the two historical markers recently placed by the NPS, but the town holds other items of interest for those willing to delves for them.
This is also a two-fer waymark since there is a mirco sized
geocache nearby.
