Marker Text: The area in which you are standing was visited by both prehistoric and historic travelers. Obsidian artifacts indicate that prehistoric hunters probably passed through here in search of game and rested a spell while sharpening their tools. The majority of the artifacts recovered, however, reveal the presence of 19th century military personnel.
