This 400-foot long solid-ribbed arch bridge carries the Illinois Prairie Path over 10 railroad tracks owned by the Elgin Joliet and Eastern Railroad and the Union Pacific Railroad.
Built in 1991 at cost of $1.2 million, the bridge won the American Institute of Steel Construction Prize Bridge Competition Award of Merit.
