The Cowboy at Drover's Mercantile guided me to this marker. He has a wealth of knowledge about Kansas western history. He also has everything a cowboy or frontiersman needs to hit the trail.
The marker is in good shape but the stone has darkened in color. Th grove runs ESE to WNW.
